Why it matters (compliance & governance perspective)

This provision discloses that seller bank account information is collected and retained as part of the selling process, and that payment processors may keep payment card information on file to cover seller-incurred charges, meaning sellers' financial data persists with third-party processors under those processors' privacy policies rather than GOAT's. The Identity and Compliance Information provision additionally discloses collection of government ID numbers, VAT/tax IDs, and government ID document scans from sellers for compliance purposes.

Consumer impact (what this means for users)

The agreement establishes that sellers who list items on GOAT's platform provide bank account and payment card information; credit card data is held by third-party payment processors and may remain on file to cover charges, while GOAT states it does not retain credit card numbers directly. The payment processor's use of seller financial data is governed by that processor's own privacy policy.
