ElevenLabs collects the content you put into and receive from its Services — including your voice recordings — and may use that content, along with other personal data, to train and improve its AI models. Your data is stored in the United States no matter where you live. You can stop ElevenLabs from using your personal data for training at any time by going to the 'Data use' menu in the 'Terms and Privacy' section of your account.
This Privacy Policy establishes ElevenLabs' collection, use, sharing, and retention practices for Personal Data generated through its Services. ElevenLabs collects Input, Output, biometric information, and voice data — including publicly available third-party data — and may process all of these, including audio, text, and video, to research, develop, train, and improve its AI models. Voice Data provided for identity verification is treated as potentially constituting Special Category or sensitive Personal Data under applicable laws, and all Personal Data is transferred to the United States for storage regardless of the user's location. Data generated about a user's voice is retained for no longer than three years after the user's last interaction with ElevenLabs, except as required by law, and users may opt out of training use of their Personal Data at any time through the 'Data use' menu in their account settings.
Using ElevenLabs' Services constitutes consent to the personal data processing described in the Policy, including potential use of your audio, text, video, and voice recordings to train AI models. If you provide voice recordings for identity verification, that data may be treated as sensitive biometric data. ElevenLabs strictly prohibits anyone from submitting voice data belonging to people under age 18. Voice-related data ElevenLabs generates about you is kept for no more than three years after your last interaction. To stop your personal data from being used for AI training, you can opt out at any time by navigating to the 'Data use' menu in the 'Terms and Privacy' section of your ElevenLabs account.
