This is Cohere's Terms of Use governing your use of their AI models, API, website, and apps — including their Command, Embed, and Rerank language model products. The most important thing to know is that by submitting content through Cohere's API or services, you grant Cohere a broad, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that content, and Cohere's maximum financial liability to you is capped at just $100 or what you paid in the last 12 months — whichever is greater. If you are a business using Cohere's API to build products, review what data you are sending to Cohere before integrating, as your inputs may be used to improve their models.

This document governs access to and use of Cohere's website (cohere.com), mobile application, proprietary API, and all associated content and services, forming a binding contract between Cohere Inc. and users upon acceptance.
