Your data is not immediately erased when you stop using BeReal — some information may be retained for extended periods for legal or business purposes even after you delete your account.
BeReal collects a wide range of personal data including dual-camera photos, precise geolocation, device identifiers, and phone contacts, which are shared with third-party advertising and analytics partners. This means your real-time location and images may be used to build an advertising profile about you. You can request deletion of your personal data or opt out of certain data processing by contacting BeReal at privacy@bereal.com or through the in-app settings.
