Disputes with Headspace are governed by the laws of a specific US state (California), regardless of where you live in the world.
If you live outside California — or outside the US — you may have fewer legal protections than your local law would otherwise provide.
The California choice-of-law provision may conflict with EU consumer protection law and GDPR, which generally requires that EU consumers benefit from the protections of their home jurisdiction; this raises enforceability concerns in the EU and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer law protections.
