The Services are not for use by anyone under the age of 16. 'Minimum Age' means 16 years old. However, if law requires that you must be older in order for LinkedIn to lawfully provide the Services to you without parental consent (including using your personal data) then the Minimum Age is such older age.
LinkedIn does not actively verify user ages, meaning minors could potentially access the service, and the legal protection for their data depends on users being honest about their age at registration.
LinkedIn's User Agreement grants the company a broad, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any content you post — including photos, articles, and videos — which extends to AI training and service development and persists beyond account deletion in some circumstances. LinkedIn's liability to you is capped at the greater of fees paid in the past twelve months or $1,000, which severely limits your ability to recover damages even for serious service failures. You can review and manage your privacy and data settings, including AI data usage preferences, at linkedin.com/psettings.
